Tai Chi Done Right
Aren't the group lessons and
group exercises enough? Isn't the most important part of Tai Chi
the movements? No. These workshops are designed to foster a
more comprehensive understanding of Tai Chi Chuan, its theory and its
applications. Only after comprehending Tai Chi on the theoretical
levels can on truly reap the benefits of Tai Chi. You may choose
to use Tai Chi Chuan to improve your health, as a method of
self-defense, or simply enjoy it as an art. Either way, these
workshops will help and open your mind to a new world. You may start on
any Sunday for the series of six 2-hour workshops.As an exercise form, Tai Chi is rooted in the Taoist philosophy of wu wei or following the path of nature. For those new to Tai Chi, these workshops will provide you with an understanding of the principles and applications of Tai Chi and open your mind to a new way of thinking about exercise, while others with past Tai Chi training will benefit from the review of these eight basic movements, common to all schools of Tai Chi Chuan. Reservations are required.
